Provider and applicability

Briefhelder is operated by Grens Digital, Papenbergseweg 4, 6585 KW Mook, Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce 73742228; VAT NL002292597B55. Contact: info@briefhelder.nl. These terms apply to new purchases from 14 October 2026. Rights relating to earlier purchases and existing subscriptions remain unchanged. Mandatory consumer rights always apply.

What you receive

Briefhelder provides an automated plain-language explanation of your letter, possible next steps and, where a reply is useful, an editable draft reply. An objection is only suggested where the supported situation warrants it. We do not send or formally submit anything on your behalf. The service does not include human legal review or representation.

Check the original letter, missing information, recipient, response deadline and permitted submission route. Your language choice does not determine the applicable law. Available legal information is limited to the countries and topics listed under Coverage and limits. For other situations, we provide general explanation and help drafting a reply.

Price, payment and delivery

The preview is free. The full result costs €1.99 including VAT per letter. You pay in advance through Stripe. After successful payment and processing, the result appears on screen. New subscriptions are currently unavailable; existing subscribers retain their management route.

You can copy, edit and download the explanation and draft reply. Keep your own download. Encrypted server recovery is available for up to 24 hours after the result is saved. This is not a permanent case file, and results are not automatically emailed. If processing is interrupted, retry the same request. Do not pay again while payment status is unclear; contact us instead.

Withdrawal, problems and refunds

As a consumer, you may withdraw within 14 days after purchase by emailing info@briefhelder.nl. Include enough information to identify the purchase, but do not send the full letter unless necessary. This version does not automatically remove that right when analysis starts. Following withdrawal, we refund the purchase price within 14 days of receiving your notice, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

If the service fails or the result is unusable, contact us for correction or a refund. This does not limit statutory rights concerning a defective service. Failed processing should not consume an analysis credit.

Responsible use

Only upload documents you are authorised to process, and remove unnecessary sensitive information. Do not upload medical records. Misuse, bypassing security and automated bulk requests without agreement are not permitted. You may use, adapt and share your own result and draft reply for your own matter. We do not take ownership of your letter.

Reliability and responsibility

AI can make mistakes. Input quality and completeness affect the result. We do not guarantee a legal outcome, debt waiver, success rate or complete legal assessment. Important or urgent decisions may require help from an appropriate professional.

We make reasonable efforts to provide the service carefully and resolve faults. This explanation of AI limitations does not exclude statutory rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Privacy and changes

Read the privacy notice for processing, retention and your rights. We may change the service and terms for future purchases. Changes do not reduce rights relating to an existing purchase.

Complaints and applicable law

Send complaints to info@briefhelder.nl. We aim to reply within five working days. Information about recognised dispute-resolution bodies is available through the European Commission. The former EU ODR platform is closed.

Dutch law applies, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Disputes may be submitted to the court competent under the applicable law. The Dutch and English versions describe the same service and rights.
